I often think that there is a hidden age discrimination, especially when you are filling out a application online and when it prompts you to put in your years of education completion, if you do not put that year in, it will not allow you to complete the application. That information will usually indicate to the employer how old you are.
ReplyDeleteI agree do not give up,second careers are started all the time. I got a divorce and had 4 kid to provide for at the time I was working in retail. I know I could not survive on a retail income, so I attended nursing school and became a LVN at 53. It open a whole new world for me and employment where ever I choose to relocate. Believe you can reinvent.
